Driving on Rt.4, looked towards Beals Pond, something in a tree caught my attention. In the top of a Maple tree was an Eagle. I turned my car around, went back, pulled into the area where they park to go fishing. At that point I also noticed that on the opposite side of the pond there was three men ice fishing. Later I asked a person who lives on the pond about it, she told me the Eagle had been there all Winter, and that it waits until the fishermen have gone and then goes down at that spot and eats what they have left for it.
