I noticed many, many robins & grackels flying in my neighborhood, stopping to eat from the berry trees and sitting on the roofs of homes to stay warm, and pecking at the areas in the yard where the snow melted! There seemed to be many waves of them! There had to be over 50 robins and then more would fly in. It was a bitter cold day (5 degrees) but sunny. I couldn't believe how many there were! I live on the South part of town. My mom & dad live towards the north of Ft. Wayne, and didn't see any.
