I noticed hundreds of American Robins eating the berries on my holly tree. I am a photographer, so I sat in the car and started to photograph them. They hung around in clusters in the trees, many on the ground and flying, even on the roof of our garage, all going in to eat the red berries on the holly tree.. It lasted about 4 hours, until the berries were gone. It was mid afternoon. As the berries dwindled so did they. Haven't seen them since. A friend on a birding sight told me it was a "Wave" and gave me your sight
