Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/19/2015

Number: 120

As I was walking my son to school on a cold, breezy, winter morning of 02/19/2015, 8:30am I notice a group of Robins all gathered together on the front steps, bushes, & trees of a front yard, Soaking up the morning sun. It seemed very odd to me to see so many spring birds all in one place in the winter time. As I approached the birds many departed from the front steps and lower bushes to taller trees but many did not move. Standing there grounds with their feathers fluffed out I stopped and watched for a second. It was an amazing sight to see. The Robins that rested in the trees above looked so calm. some even were flying from tree to tree in groups. There wasn't many chirping. More silent then anything.
