Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/16/2015

Number: 1000

Had been seeing small flocks for the past couple of weeks but I really noticed them Monday 2/16. They were eating Glossy privet or Japanese privet berries and Carolina laurel cherry in big noisy groups. WE god a blast of cold weather on Thursday. They were less numerous Friday but were still present. Even less today. I think they have moved on. The Carolina laurel cherries just started blooming this week, just as the robins were eating the berries the trees spent all last year making.
