Bald Eagle

Date: 02/21/2015

Number: 1

Cold, snowing, approx 1300 hrs at Station Avenue Park in Bensalem on the Delaware river. While observing ducks and geese swimming the ice filled river water a bald eagle flew over head at an altitude of about 50 feet and perched in a tall tree about 50 yards away. I watched with binoculars for 5 minutes and it flew off.
About 10 minutes later the same or another bald eagle flew over head, but this eagle was being pursued by a larger bird that I can not identify. The bird had the heavy bill was brown in color longer wing span and body than the bald eagle. Both birds briefly confronted over the water and flew out of sight.

It was an awsome event
