I had 5 monarch caterpillars and the temperature went down to 37 degrees. The milkweed had no more leaves on 7 plants. I took the catepillars into the house and had some tiny milkweed plants. Only 1 survived and now that the temperature is again in the 80's I put it out again. I cannot find it this AM 02/22/14. Is there anything else that they will eat?
