Today,2/24/15, is the fourth consecutive day that hundreds of Robins are spending the day in the Old West Lawrence neighborhood area eating hackberry fruit, foraging on the ground and drinking from our heated bird bath all day. They arrive around 7:00 a.m. and depart in groups near sunset. The last group near my house departed at 5:35 p.m. yesterday. They arrived again this morning around 7:00 a.m. Perhaps the cold temperatures have stalled their migration northward?
