Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/28/2015

Number: 75

A long, strung out flock of at least 75 adult Robins (male and female) flying in short hops from tree to tree, staying only a minute before moving again. They passed through our yard at 3:05 pm between downfalls of rain. They all seemed to be the same approximate size so unsure if any of these were juveniles, but all had the classic colors/markings of males and females. They did not stop to eat anything. A large hawk showed up immediately following the flock's departure, but it did not appear that it dined on any of the Robins.
