We have a hedge which is partially covered in snow by our front walk. Looking out this afternoon around 4:00 PM I saw three or four robins inside the hedge, and another six flying around and landing on the snow or the top of the hedge.

This is the first sighting of any robins this year and the first time I've ever seen a wave of them. Normally it's one or two at a time in the yard.
