The date of February 1st is a rough estimate. I have noticed earthworms a number of times over the past 4 - 6 weeks. For example: I noticed a number of earthworms when I moved a small firewood pile. I noticed them when I moved my trash cans. (A few were under the cans.) And this weekend (weekend of March 7th and 8th) I noticed them when I did some general cleanup in one of my flower beds.
