I spotted a large flock of them on an open pasture area on our farm in TN. I'm just guessing as to the total number as they kept moving around so i was unable to count them. The pasture area is about 2 acres in size and they literally covered the whole pasture with just a few feet separating each bird. All i can say for certain is that i have never observed(in 50 years of observation) such a large group of robins.
