I've been buzzed several times in my backyard by the Rufous hummers. I hadn't set their feeder back up and they were not happy. Yesterday one came pretty close as if to make its point that I needed to do my part of the job and set up the feeder.
Their backyard feeder is going out today.
The front yard feeder will go out tomorrow.
I'm afraid the preparations for the Monarch season had put me behind in getting the feeders cleaned and out.
Looking forward to the Backyard Hummer Wars.
