First Monarch sighted on Christmas Day. For many weeks saw only one and then another appeared. Began to see caterpillars around first of March. Then today, March 11, 2015 there are four monarchs feeding on the small patch of tropical milkweed behind our lanai. I have never seen four at one time before this. We came to this location in July/August 2014 and counted 25+ caterpillars on the milkweed. We are usually only here during the winter months since 2009.
