What a wonderful sound and sight to see the Sandhill Cranes doing their lazy circles in the sky here North of Milton. They are always the first sign of spring for me - I can only hope that winter has finally given up her strangle hold on us, and we can proceed on to the season of song.

In checking my records - their March 12th appearance this year is EXACTLY the same date that I first saw them in the Spring of 2014.
