We looked carefully over about forty acres and found asperula in
all stages across the pasture. Best plant had eight stems to nine inches
with one bloom. Many of the plants displayed freeze damage from last week.
There are many, many more that are just sprouting to just a couple of
inches. Everything, vegetation wise, in the pasture seems to be running
a week to ten days later than the last two years.
