I first heard his cry from our Spruce tree in front of the house as I was filling up some finch feeders around 9:30 A.M.
Momentarily I heard a strange, yet somewhat familiar, weaker than usual singing, not the normal clear strong voice call. As I turned I saw him on a lower branch, but he was certainly in the right place as we feed everyone here and he had found his way to some feeders that contain the seeds that he will enjoy. Great to see this sign of Spring after such a terrible winter!
