We had four tulips emerge from the cold ground. We planted a total of 80 as a second grade class. It is currently 35 degrees and sunny. The students thought it was very neat to see the tulips emerging after such a long and cold winter! They also observed dead grass, rocks, mud, and no snow in our tulip beds.
