Our tulips have emerged! They were covered by some dead leaves all winter and when we moved the leaves away today, we discovered the emerged plants. The coloring is very interesting. Most of the stem on each tulip is yellow. We think that's because that part wasn't getting any sunlight. The tips are red. We will have to wait and see if they turn green now that they are getting exposure to the sunlight..
