Weather in North Texas has fluctuated drastically over the last month here. One day we have snow and ice then a few days later it feels like Summer. I can't remember a year with such extremes in the 34 years that I've lived in Texas.

We've had some cool, rainy conditions for the last week. There is no sign of any of my native milkweed coming up yet either. As an insurance policy I bought some milkweed plants at a local nursery and planted them. Now I'm hoping that we've seen our last freeze. I miss the Monarchs and eagerly await their return.
