We have a Robin with NO tail.
NOTE: Journey North's robin expert replied: The robin did not lose its tail in a normal molt: They lose their tail feathers individually during molt. And this is obviously not a baby robin just growing in its feathers for the first time. The only way an adult robin loses all its feathers at once is from a predator: a house cat, a hawk, or something similar. Often the feathers fall out simultaneously without tissue damage. Then they'll regrow new feathers within a few weeks.
