Last night it was 16 degrees, and today it is 28 degrees, but our tulips are beginning to emerge through the hard, frosty ground.We planted two beds with 40 tulips bulbs in each. In one, we did not amend the soil, and there are 2 emergent tulips. In the second, we amended the soil with bonemeal, and there are 15 emergent tulips! We are anxious to see how the two bed progress!
