On 3/21/15 heard some redwings singing during the night. On 3/22/15 saw 2 or 3 in our back yard. Today on 3/25/15 were about 15 to 20 males at the hanging cylindrical feeder, ground feeders and drinking from the bird bath. They were swooping in and out from about noon to 4 pm. Competing with a few robins, one or 2 grackles and crows, many, many sparrows and purple finches and doves for seed and suet mix it was quite a sight!
(Our lot is only 30 feet wide)
