I was outdoors washing a car and was "buzzed" by a Broad-Tailed Hummingbird. It seemed way too early but the same bird was observed by another family member. We have had temperatures in the past 2 weeks that have varied from a low of 25 degrees to a high of 85 degrees and this warmer weather may have attracted a male to the area almost 3 weeks to a month earlier than expected.
