I was looking out my kitchen window into my back yard, watching all the birds eat before dark (it was about 6:55 p.m.) and so fidgid cold for this time of year. It is 37 degrees right now with a low tonight of 25 degrees and the wind ripping at 15+mph. But behind my bird feeder a Robin flew in. It it rained a bigger part of the day yesterday. I watched the Robin and after about 5 minutes she caught a worm. She ate and went to the Leland trees I have lining my property. I reckon to get set up for the ridiculously cold night ahead.
