For the first time in many years we are having an early spring. Pussy-willows were spotted in February. Crocus were starting to grow March 17th. I spotted my first Robin on March 20th, Dark-eyed Junco March 24th, an unknown orange butterfly March 26th, and the ice on most ponds have melted on March 27th. Trumpeter and Tundra Swan have returned as well as the Mountain Bluebirds. I hope the nice weather continues.
