Early this year a large wave of Robins came and stayed in La Habra Heights for months, roosting in one spot near our home. Now that the large wave have moved on, for the first time since I have lived here, over 25 years, 100's of the Robins have decided to stay. They appear to be nesting and feeding on the ground and trees here. I believe I saw a young group of babies branching in our pepper tree, with the parents coming back to feed them. Normally we see a few during Spring, but now daily dozens and 100's can be seen flying about feeding and perching, a wonderful site to see.
