Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 03/28/2015

Number: 1

March 28th. My first sighting since initial placement of feeders in late February.
She showed up quite unexpectedly at 6:12 pm and returned to the same feeder about 5 mins later.
Yard planting Firebush (over 2 years old), Jatropha (1 year old), Purple Firespike (just this week).
I'm a total novice, any guidance on keeping her attention appreciated.

March 29th. She showed up again this morning, making several visits to the same feeder as yesterday.
Appears to be ignoring the other three feeders in the yard.
Around 3:00 pm she made a fly-by, but I was working in yard/garden. She didn't feed.

March 30th. Now have two RT showing up several times during the day at the same feeder. Rarely at the same time.
They both ignore the other three feeders in the yard.
They spend quite a bit of time at a Morning Glory vine with dozens of blooms that has woven very high into a large tree at the back line of my lot.

March 31st. 8:00 am, the smaller of the two has been to the feeder a couple times. I guess they are going to hang around for a while.
