This is my first ruby-throated sighting, but my second hummer sighting today. Earlier, I saw my first a Black-chinned. This ruby-throated bird was hovering at a red bird feeder. He soon learned there was no food for him and flew to the hummer feeder outside the kitchen window. He ate and went to a branch for a few seconds before flying off.
