Around 1pm faded monarch flew past me while at Black Bayou Lake NWR. It's north of Monroe,LA Couldn't tell if it was female or male.

Last 2 days winds have been from the S/SW 10-15mph.
weather has warmed up temps in upper 70's lows in the 60's
