FOS Female monarch flying and ovipositing along a cultivated pollinator berm adjacent to an open meadow on Skidaway Island,GA. This site is one of the test sites for the MonarchHealth study at the Odum School of Ecology at the University of Georgia. The cultivar 'Hello Yellow' of Asclepias tuberosa was planted last week. Foliage of established A. Curassavica is emerging after having been cut back in November 2014. Attached photo by Fitz Clarke, fellow citizen scientist.
