Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/01/2015

Number: 1

On Wednesday April 1, 2015 at 3 pm CST at my mail box surrounded by acres of Milkweed I saw my first monarch of the year. My sister 100 miles directly west of me reported 2 monarchs in her yard on March 31 Tuesday. So it is obvious the leading edge of the Texas migration has hit north central prairies hunting for milkweed to deposit eggs upon.

According your reports the trailing edge is near Austin.
