Saw Robins in great numbers in our local city park yesterday. This was my first Robin siting of the season this year.

I watch for just about everything during migration.....especially humming birds, which were notably scarce this spring. April first was my first sighting this year of any Robins and i saw upward of 50 in one area of City Park in New Orleans. I was driving thru the park and they were all over the place............but I was unable to take a count because I was driving. It struck me that it was a bit late to see them in numbers, but the spring migration here has been very odd. After my most active sighting of hummers this past fall, they were far and few between this spring. Many species that I usually have visit my feeders in the sprIng never showed up this year. Have not seen a hummer in over a week.
