This report is of the first monarch butterfly egg sighting for Spring of 2015.
I traveled to San Antonio TX to find milkweed that is on the Riverwalk. I located the milkweed on the West bank of the river due South from Pearl and adjacent to the Pearl Parking.

I first saw a monarch caterpillar (first instar) and then I found three monarch caterpillar eggs.
