Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/05/2015

Number: 1

Birdwatcher Dave M tells me that on the Ontario Field Ornithologists' field trip today (April 5th) to Peterborough and vicinity, they spotted one barn swallow and a number of tree swallows near the "bus barns" (for Peterborough Transit buses) near Lock 23 on the Otonobee River.

Hope the poor bird survives as there are no insects flying and the temperatures are freezing!
