Wind started the day from north and slowly rotated to east by late afternoon. Overnight temp high 40's and didn't reach 55 until about 1130. Intermittent Sun.

At 1600 near a small pond that is below grade and protected from wind, I saw two adults. One was drinking from seep area that feeds the pond. The other was at top of bank, alternately flying a foot or two from ground then briefly landing.
