We are planning to enlarge our milkweed bed and on 3/31/15 saw tiny 1" plants pushing their way out of the soil. I didn't have time to report the sighting. We went back out today (April 8) and were surprised to see the plants had grown so much! They are 6" tall with many leaves. It has been warm and rainy in Charlotte and our milkweed plants are thriving ...in and out of their flower bed!
