Observed 5 vibrant monarchs on Tuesday; one stopped long enough to lay eggs. All 7 chrysalis' report earlier have opened and found one to be unsuccessful. Saw 7 caterpillars today (Wed) in various stages of development. Also saw a red wasp attack, kill, and devour an instar 2 caterpilllar. Wind is from the SW at ~12 MPH and the sky is overcast.
