Driving back from the Texas coast to Austin, I had seen milkweed, eggs, and larva, but no monarchs. Traveling northwest for most of the drive on 183, it was not until I traveled east/ west on Interstate 10 for about 30 miles that I finally saw three adults monarchs on their Journey North. I will keep watching and reporting!
