Date: 04/08/2015

Number: 1

4/8 - posted to the D-Plex list... "A new faded mama Monarch has been laying all day on everything, all varieties... I was happy she had chosen the Swamp first...and, while surveying some leaf damage I blamed the milkweed beetles for on the A. incarnata, I found my 1st caterpillar!... then, another... and eggs... and more eggs, and I realized I had missed much... now, 12 cats are nibbling on their leaves inside, and I'll be setting up 1 of 2 screen tents tomorrow and doing a comprehensive search...Spring is really here, now..." [so, my female from 3/29 wasn't just nectaring...]
