We found leaves emerging from three out of our five sites on our school grounds. The leaves were approximately from 2 centimeters to 16 centimeters in height. They are dark green with red edges. The smallest leaves emerging are just red. The longest leaves are in a place where there is no more ice or snow. The shortest leaves are emerging from under the snow.
