At 7:26 A.M. I looked out my back window at my peanut pieces feeder and saw the first red-headed woodpecker I have seen this spring. My late husband loved this woodpecker and called it 'Tuxedo' because its coloring looked like it was wearing a tuxedo. It is such a beautifully striking bird.
