We have been tracking the hummers online, so we have had our feeders up and ready. I was working in the yard, in spite of it having started to rain, and it was late afternoon, about 4:30 pm, and I was just so happy and excited to greet my first visitor! So excited, in fact, that I neglected to pay attention to the tail to determine whether it was a juvenile or a female, but I can usually spot the telltale white tips right away, so I *think* it was a juvenile that came to vitit. Either way, a happy sighting - spring has officially begun! :) <3
