Sightings report image

Date: 04/14/2015

Number: 1

Today it rained gently most of the morning and was a cooler 68 degrees F. I didn't see any monarchs, but wasn't home much during the time it wasn't raining, so not too unexpected. We have had a very wet April so far, after a very wet March. Everything is lush and green, with tall grass, wildflowers, and abundant milkweed. The photo below is of a little 1st instar in a nice location amidst a cluster of milkweed buds.
