Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/11/2015

Number: 1

We saw our first adult monarchs this spring on Saturday. Most appeared to be feeding on crimson clover and even vetch blooming along the roadway. We saw four or five of them throughout the day in about a fifteen mile area and they were most definately monarchs. We have worked with monarchs for over 20 years and have tagged many through Monarch Watch - had at least 15 recovered in Mexico in all the years of doing that.
