Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/14/2015

Number: 1

I had not put my feeder out yet because it had been so windy and rainy! I was sitting on my sofa when a hummer flew in front of our large picture window overlooking the James River.. The male flew on front of the window and hovered there until I saw him. It was as if he was telling me to get up and bring out his feeder and swing I have for him each year on my front porch! I laughed and immediately did as he had asked! He was at the feeder within 5 minutes of me placing it there and went to his swing after that to get out of the light rain we were having! Love my Hummers! So glad they are back for the season!
