Tulips Emerged - Spring Has Arrived In Miramichi!
After a snow storm on Easter weekend that brought us 20cm of snow, and the very cold and snow packed winter, we were surprised to find that our tulips had emerged. Our weather had been a little warmer for a few days and actually got up to 15C on Monday April 13th. We were -16C earlier in the month. On March 20th, the first day of spring our garden was still covered in deep snow. Now almost all of the snow is off the garden and the soil was soft and not frozen. We thought the tulips looked like little candy corn coming out of the ground. We are excited to see them grow!
