Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/10/2015

Number: 1

One male ruby throat sighted fleetingly in the late afternoon. He came to the camellia bushes that were just beginning to bloom. I did not have a feeder up but immediately began to make nectar. I could not get the feeder up in time for the 10th but it was up for the next morning. Sure enough one male RT was on it early on the 11th !!!YAY!!! I have really missed the hummers. Watching the hummers antics and acrobatics makes life worth living.
