Observe a pair who built a nest on my porch . four eggs have since been laid in the nest (the fourth 4/16/15... I am concerned as the nest is in the upper trim of porch -- at roof of porch. I read babies fledge and normally experiment on branches. These will fall a great distance. Can I place something under the nest to catch .. shrubbery or ?? suggestions please. Of course I will do nothing until fledging time gets closer to avoid stressing parents.
