About 4 days ago i have been able to watch male and female robins doing finishing touches on a nest located on top of my neighbor's 2 door garage outdoor light, located just underneath the roof overhang.Yesterday I kept noticing the Mom flying out of her nest every time they backed their cars into the driveway.(Now my neighbor wanted to rid of the nest in the early stages of building it, but his wife insisted on keeping it there)Unfortunately, watching with much anticipation,i saw one of the robins fly up to the nest looking inside of it,giving it some kind of great "inspection".About 8 hrs later, saw some of our small titmouse sparrows perched on it for a quick peek.This gave me the indication of abandonment. I hope that our robins will find a better nesting spot!
